 Scallywags.. a little jam band created by Nora Barnes.  She hand picked Chris Rothe, Joe Gallagher, Ron and me as the Band she would book for Chris at her Tavern in Manassas; Afterlife 360. We play Rock N Roll covers and do "Pick A Key" Jams, mostly Blues influenced. We have guests who show and play.

 Hello All.

 This evening you find me in London, Ohio waiting on an Electronic Log Book to let me work.

August 31st 2021, Everyone is freaking out over the new sickness. The turn of the Decade and the changes made.  I have been alive 51 years and seems something major happens around that time. 70's change to the 80's had the Fuel Crisis 80's to 90's had A.I.D.S.

The Year 2000!!! Anticipation at its Finest!! Is it gonna work after Midnight???

2010 saw another Fuel Crisis leaving Diesel fuel priced at Premium prices. 

Now 2020. Precluded by a strongly Devided Government in the U.S.,  has a highly Controversial Sickness that is a Mystery as to its origin. Everyone in the World has been on a lock down for about a year.  The controversy is about how we're going about this and everyone's observations..

If this was man made in China, like just about everything else in the world, there is an antidote. Was this an attempt at Genocide in China?? Release a sickness on it's own people to prevent revolution?? Then create Global panic...?

....or the other senerio; An adventurous foodie ate a sick bat, got sick and passed it on to two friends and they passed it on to two friends and they passed it on and so on and so on.....now the entire world is in Danger because....well they had to see what it tasted like I figure...

Anyway that's current events. "Get Vaccinated"

I don't know if I want to. This Government has been fighting each other for years, now here's how they want to bring us together... ??

Segregation down to the individual. Biological information gathering. Injecting Fear to control. Too many questions that haven't been answered. 

Speaking of Control...I have this tattle tale in the truck.  First time being over the road with a tattle tale and it's not very productive.  You're either racing the clock or don't have time to do the job. Electronic Automated Trucks driven by Robots coming soon... 

The trill is gone. Can't just run an get the job done. If you have to wait on anyone or anything longer than two hours once the clock starts, your day is done... going nowhere in trucking it seems.

Wow I made an entry earlier and it didn't save any of it.
I have some time while I'm delivering in DC to make an entry. As you can see it's the end of August 2019 been a little while since I put a entry in my blog.
Spoke about my father before, we trying to work my truck as a team oh, it didn't work out. I parked the truck put it in his name to save it from the baby mama who is trying to stroke me for money. He went and sold it out from under me. We don't speak anymore don't even know if he's alive. But that's his fault he cussed me and told me fuk you you're not getting any money from the sale and decided he's not going to talk to me anymore.
My son is becoming an adult tried Community College that didn't work for him he didn't like the professor's so they weren't interesting enough to him bored out of his skull. My daughter was rude by an 18 year old boy when she was 16 and now she's married has a three month old child and living with the boy and his parents. Jill and I are still together after 10 years. She decided to stick with me I guess. I know I'm not trying to kick anybody out in the street. And she hasn't left me for anybody else. We're just living loving and laughing.

  Been a while since I been able to post anything, been really busy runnin' Flatbed and Van freight lately. Soon I hope I'll have time to write about my thoughts of this industry I'm involved in, but 'til then I need to take this time to rest up.

Gettin' up on my Get Down

 I have gotten some time to myself, no work that has to be done. So I ventured a trip to my friend RoBBo's place and got to get some time in on the Bass last night and will get some here after this post. I ripped out some distorted jams at first just to shake the rust loose then went into the noodle mode for a few hours running through some patterns, nothing of any consequence just havin' fun lettin' loose.

  My friend RoBBo and I have rercorded some tracks on the computer, I have posted three of them on My Space music page  www.myspace.com/klixta check it out! I have some more for ya if ya like these.
  We simply used the Mac "Garage Band" loops and your's truly on the Bass. Enjoy!

Learning the ropes

 I have a friend that I had a phone conversation with last night who is in sales. We are in different businesses, though marketing in the service business is the same; get your name out there and explain why you're the one to go to for the best service.
 My question was how to get the in when the other guy out bid you. The explaination was again, get your name out there and consistantly be on the ball repeatedly, letting persective clients know that you're the one to go to for the best service. If the other guy is cutting corners they might drop the ball soon enough. If you are on the mind of the perspective clients you'll get the call and the chance to prove yourself.
 Put together your promotional material explaining your policies and of course why you're the best!
